Overview
This briefing provides an understanding of the nature and value of the PRINCE2 method that will enable delegates to assess its use and application in different environments. Understand the distinction between organisational project management (what an organisation needs to do to extract maximum value from investments in projects) from project management (what a project manager does during a project)
-
Recognize how successful governance and management of PRINCE2 projects is achieved.
-
Describe the key features of PRINCE2, and the value each provides
-
Assess how best to use PRINCE2
-
Ensure that none of the critical project performance parameters are overlooked
-
Identify the individual stages of a project run under PRINCE2 and the governance considerations at each stage
-
Understand the key aspects in implementing PRINCE2
