Mr Alan Rankins

Alan has significant experience from 21 years in uniform in the RAN and over 15 years as a project and programme manager in Defence projects. Having gained management experience from multi-million dollar programmes and strategic smaller projects with every type of project in between, he has developed a large network and acknowledged expertise in gathering the resources needed to deliver a successful project.

Alan has assisted Australian companies gain defence business success both Nationally and Internationally. He has provided services in the areas of strategic direction, project development, bid preparation and project management. An experienced Programme Manager, particularly in the area of Defence programs and Defence Integrated Logistics Support, he has become an accomplished business development manager, experienced in developing and selling solutions in defence and law enforcement markets. Alan can advise on client relationship management, commercial negotiations, business development and sales, staff performance management and service delivery management.

Alan is a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), The Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and The Society for Policing Cyberspace (POLCYB). He also contributes back to his core industry as a Committee member for the Australian Industry and Defence Network (AIDN).
